Style 96 Mechanical Repair Sleeves 

The Dresser Style 96 sleeve is ideal for large-diameter steel pipelines with: 

• Longitudinal & circumferential breaks up to eight inches in length 
• Broken or porous welded joints 
• Leaking screw collar joints 

Designed for high-pressure transmission repairs, and factory-assembled for immediate field installation. Standard version includes: 

• Weldable steel body halves suitable to ASTM A36 or equivalent 

• Carbon steel follower AISI C1015 
• ASTM A193 Grade B7 studs, heat-treated carbon steel cap screws 
• Time tested Buna-S rubber compounded gaskets 
• 2″, 3″, & 4″6”-36” sizes, 100 and 500 PSIG standard pressure ratings 
• Vented for installation under pressure 
• 100% shell-tested at factory to 2X design pressure
